When an individual experience a left cerebrovascular accident or stroke, she may have a deficit on speech or
unable to speak at all because the left side of our brain controls our ability to speak and understand language. The nurse must document Aphasia to indicate
this deficit or the problems involve in speaking and understanding
language.
