The answer would be: Can provide sites for DNA collection of saliva from the suspect which can lead to the identification of the suspect

Biting should leave a trace of saliva from the suspect. The saliva could be analyzed to determine the DNA of the suspect. If the DNA is matched, the investigator could prove the identity of the suspect. What charges given to the suspect won't help the investigation much.
