The measure of an angle is 88 more than its complementary angle. What is each of the angles?

Complementary angles = 90°

If 1 is 88 more, then it would have 89 and 1.There is no other choice.

89 - 1 = 88 ✓
89 + 1 = 90 ✓

Angle 1 : 89°
Angle 2 : 1°
