To calculate the slope, the formula is (y1-y2)/(x1-x2) , which in this case, the answer would be:
[tex] \frac{6 - ( - 3)}{ - 2 - 5} \\ = \frac{6 +3 }{ - 7} \\ = - \frac{9}{7} [/tex]
