Write an equation in slope-intercept form for the line with y-intercept 1 and slope -5.

slope-intercept form: y = mx + b where m = slope and b = y-intercept

in this case slope = -5 and y-intercept b = 1


Equation in slope-intercept form:

y = -5x + 1
