7/8 = 14:16
As 7×2=14 and 8×2=16
2/5 = 4:10
As 2×2=4 and 5×2=10
5/12 = 15:36
As 5×3=15 and 12×3=36
36/48 = 3:4
As 36÷3=12 and 48÷4=12
