If JM=JK then x would be 7x + 5 = 8x

Then, 5 = 8x-7x

Which will result in 5 = x

JM would be 7(5) + 5 = 35+ 5

= 40#

Best of luck!!

Answer:

JM=40

Step-by-step explanation:

7x + 5 = 8x

-7x       - 7x

      5 = x

Now plug in 5 for x.

JM = 7x+5

JM = 7(5) + 5

JM = 35+5

JM=40
