There are three subatomic particles that make up an atom. Electrons, Protons, and Neutrons. Electrons are subatomic particles that have a negative charge. Protons are subatomic particles that have a positive charge. And Neutrons are subatomic particles that have no charge, but only add onto the atomic mass of an atom.
