Possible values for r could be anything 7 and under because if you subtract 3 from any of those numbers it will be smaller than 5. Hope this helps!

R can be anything in the range of 7 to - anything because if the negatives add together it is still negative and 7-3= 4 so in conclusion the answer is 7 and lower. Hope this helped.
