The answer is "neuron".

The neurons are cells that process and transmits information through electrical and chemical signals. According to studies, differentiated neuron cells become postmitotic. This is the state where the neuron exist in quiescent state. Studies also suggest that neuron originate from nueral stem cell through neurogenesis.
