For this case we have by definition, given two points, [tex](x_ {1}, y_ {1}) y (x_ {2}, y_ {2})[/tex]. The formula of the midpoint is given by:

[tex]M = (\frac {x_ {1} + x_ {2}} {2}, \frac {y_ {1} + y_ {2}} {2})[/tex]

We have to:

[tex](x_ {1}, y_ {1}) = (6, -3)\\(x_ {2}, y_ {2}) = (- 2,1)[/tex]

Substituting:

[tex]M = (\frac {6-2} {2}, \frac {-3 + 1} {2})\\M = (\frac {4} {2}, \frac {-2} {2})\\M = (2, -1)[/tex]

So, the midpoint is:

[tex]M = (2, -1)[/tex]

ANswer:

[tex]M = (2, -1)[/tex]
