so you are tryna find the hypotenuse right?

C = your hypotenuse

C² = A² + B²

C² = 8² + 12²

C² = 64 + 144

C² = 208

C = √208

= 14.42 /14.43

so you can check your answer like, (answer)². hope this helps.
