The new tactic did Hitler use to conquer much of Europe early in the war is called Blitzkrieg. Blitzkrieg, also called "lightning war", is a military strategy to divide and disorganize an enemy army. This tactic involves cutting off the communications of the enemy, and taking them by surprise, leaving the enemy unprepared to fight.
