What is an equation in slope-intercept form of the line that passes through the points (−2, −2) and (1, 7)?

3x+4=y is the equation because when you find the slope by finding change in y over change in x, you get 3. Then you can plug in the values of x and y and find your y intercept. Finally you can put this into slope intercept form which is y=mx+b
