Sovle the system of linear equations by graphing y=2x-1 y=x+1

Answer:

2x-1=x+1

2x-x=x

1+1=2

x=2

Knowing x's value, we substitute it with the equations

y=x+1

y=2+1

or y=2x-1

y=2(2)-1

y=4-1

y=3
