Our president has a cabinet who advise him/her, it is made up of the heads of the 15 executive departments. This would include but not limited to the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Energy. They are chosen by the president and then confirmed by the Senate. The president also has a Vice President to rely on, who serves as a top adviser to the President.
