Is eukaryotic cells capable of photosynthesis because photosynthesis requires chloroplasts

Eukaryotes along with some prokaryotes also perform the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis needs chloroplast and it is also found in some of the prokaryotes. Prokaryotes are primitive cells but they do have organelles like mitochondria and chloroplast.
