Cleared the P's first, then muilt by 4 to clear the "D" and last solved for X and got 4.2

3(x-5)+4=4-2(x-1)
==>3x-15+4=4-2x+2
==>3x-11=6-2x
==>3x+2x=6+11
==>5x=17
==>x=17/5
==>x=3.4
