With unequal distribution of money, power and resources, health inequities follow. The health care system is more willing to provide care to those they see as an important role in society and would be able to pay back the medical bills. When you are of a higher social status people are more willing to help you in a health crisis and you can afford it vs those who can’t afford it and aren’t seen as important.
