The pressure exerted by a block of wood is 40 pa. If the force exerted by the block is 80N what is the surface area of the wood?​

Answer:

Pressure = 40Pa

Force = 80N

Surface area = ?

Pressure = Force/Surface area

hence Surface area = Force/Pressure

Surface area = 80N/40Pa = 2m^2.
