A geometric sequence is defined by the explicit formula an = 5(-3)n-1. What is the recursive formula for the nth term of this sequence?

an=a1(r)^(n-1)
an=5(-3)^(n-1)
so then each term is multiplied by -3

so
f(n)=-3(f(n-1))
and
f(n)=5
