Answer

Find out the value of x in the equation .

2.5(6x-4)=10+4(1.5+0.5x)

To prove

As the equation is given in the question as follows.

2.5(6x-4)=10+4(1.5+0.5x)

open the bracket

2.5 × 6x - 2.5 × 4 = 10 + 4 × 1.5 + 4 ×0.5x

15x - 10 = 10 + 6 + 2x

15x - 2x = 16 + 10

13x = 26

[tex]x = \frac{26}{13}[/tex]

x = 2

Therefore the value of the x in the expression 2.5(6x-4)=10+4(1.5+0.5x) is 2 .
