To find the x intercept, plug zero in for y and solve.
To find the y intercept, plug zero in for x and solve.

6(0) + 7y = -4
 y = -4/7
(0, -4/7)

6x +7(0) = -4
6x = -4
x = -4/6 = -2/3

Finding intercepts you set one variable ( x or y) to xero in the equation of 6x + 7y = -4:

x-intercept, y=0: 6x + 7(0) = -4 | 6x + 0 = -4 | 6x = -4 | x = -4/6 = -2/3 | (-2/3,0) answer

y-intercept, x=0: 6(0) + 7y = -4 | 0 + 7y = -4 | 7y = -4 | y = -4/7  | (0,-4/7) answer
