Some substance do not digests in our digestive system because of lacakage of enzyme for the particular sort of substance. For example cellulose is indigestible because of absence of cellulose enzyme.
Therefore, these substance remains undigested and hence remove from the body.
The significance of these kind of substances is this that it is use as an anti constipationary.
