If two pounds of meat will serve 5 people, how many pounds will be needed to serve 13 people?

2 pounds / 5 people = x pounds / 13 people
cross multiply and simplify to get x = 5.2 pounds
So, 5.2 pounds of meat will be needed to serve 13 people.
