the first thing that came to mind for me was marriage between a husband and his wife. they take care or each other. if one is sick, the other helps them to feel better. if one needs attention, the other when possible will give it to their spouse. in the long-run, the husband will be able to help his wife, and likewise, the wife will be able to help her husband.
