Answer:

let (5,4)=(x1,y1)

(-3,-2)=(x2,y2)

now, by using distance formula

we get distance between line segment =10 unit

therefore distance =10 units ans

As the formula...

[tex] = \sqrt{( - 3 - 5 {)}^{2} + ( - 2 - 4 {)}^{2} } [/tex]

[tex] = \sqrt{( - 8 {)}^{2} + ( - 6 {)}^{2} } [/tex]

[tex] = \sqrt{64 + 36} [/tex]

[tex] = \sqrt{100} [/tex]

= 10 units...
