The balanced chemical reaction is written as:

3HCl + Al(OH)3 = AlCl3 + 3H2O

1.51 g Al(OH)3 ( 1 mol / 78.01 g ) ( 3 mol HCl / 1 mol Al(OH)3 ) ( 1 L / 0.100 mol HCl ) = 0.581 L of 0.100 M HCl solution is needed
