So, you can't really do anything with the equation.
Why?
[tex]\frac{4x^3+3x^2-10}{x-1}[/tex]
X cannot divide/cancel out anything, neither can -1.
So you're just left with the equation:
[tex]\frac{4x^3+3x^2-10}{x-1}[/tex]
