In organizing visual aids in a technical document, it is best to avoid using emerging designs at the sides which may distract the viewers. Avoid also putting too much detail in one page or slide. A key sentence is enough. Too much detail in one page or slide may be dragging and allows viewers to be out of focus or be less interested for that matter.
