The eligibility requirements for a member of the House of Representatives are:
1) Must be at least twenty-five years old
2) Must have been a citizen of the US for the past seven years
3) Must live in the state in which he or she is elected
These requirements are stated in Article 1, Section 2, Clause 2 of the US Constitution.
