What should be the next number in the following series 1 2 8 48 384

Given series is 1 , 2 , 8 , 48 , 384 ...............

Now we can see
 1*2 = 2

  2*4 = 2*(2+2) = 8
 
   8*6 = 8*(4+2) = 48.
 
   48*8 = 48 * (6+2) = 384

    So the next number is 384*10 = 384 *(8+2) = 3840.
