3/4 + 1/6= the common denominator is 12
3x2/4x3 + 1x2/6x2= you must multiply the bottom values of the fraction to get 12 and whatever you multiply on the bottom you must do on the top as well
6/12 + 2/12= now you can add it
8/12
8/12 ÷ 2/5= you must multiply by the reciprocal
8x5/12x2=
40/36= this is the answer
