MN + NR = MR
2.5x + x = 5x - 3
3.5x = 5x - 3
3.5x - 5x = -3
- 1.5x = -3
x = -3 / -1.5
x = 2

MN = 2.5x.....2.5(2) = 5 <==
NR = x = 2
MR = 5x - 3.....5(2) - 3 = 7
