Median is the middle number and you have to put each set in order like you've done, tick each number off and each side working in:
3,4,-6-,7,8 =6
3,3,-4-,5,5 =4
6,7,-7-,8,9 =7
2,2,-3-,4,6 =3
Mode is the number that shows up the most
3,4,6,7,8= no mode
3,3,4,5,5= 3 and 5
6,7,7,8,9=7
2,2,3,4,6=2
6,7,7,8,9 both have 7 for mode and median
