I think the total cost is $26 b/c adult tickets would be $8. 8+8=16 5+5=10. 16+10= 26

If the tickets for children are $5, and the tickets for adults cost $3 more, then that would mean that the adult tickets would cost $8. So if two adults and two children are going to the movies, 8x2=16, 5x2=10 and 16+10=26
