If you have to complete  with a correct verb, this sentence should be complete in the following way;

"el horno ESTÁ en la cocina". This would mean that the oven IS in the kitchen.
 the verb "está" derives from "estar." it is use in present tense and simple form because the noun is in singular. In this case, it would make reference to the place in which the oven is, the place in the house.
