Go ahead and divide it like you would a normal division problem. Only, when you do add a decimal point and add however many zeros behind it that you need. Divide it that way and be sure to put the decimal straight up above the division bar. you'll end up with 36.00 divided by 540. I know that wasn't a great explanation.
