It doesn't do much during Interphase, it simply does it's regular functions.

Interphase is the longest stage of the cellular life cycle and is where the DNA undergoes DNA replication, and also where the membrane bound organelles of the cell duplicate and replicate. Cytoplasm also increases and is made more.
