I need 3 2/5 cups of sugar for my recipe. How many cups of sugar do I need if I am tripling the recipe?

So to solve this you simply have to solve 3.4 x 3.
Multiply the decimal and you get 1.2, multiply the whole numbers and you get 9. 9 + 1.2 = 10.2 or 10 1/5 cups, hope this helps!
