can someone help me in math with the pythagorean theorem and coordinates?

the theorem is A squared + B squared = C squared 
A and B are the legs and C is the hypotenuse. You fill in the correct info and then solve. At the end to get rid of the squared to get the variable by itself, then you use the radical sign (I can't provide a pic of the sign so look it up on the internet if you don't know what that looks like) to get the squared down. Use your calculator to find the whole number (or decimal) of the radical.
