Warming up is important because you need to "warm up" your core and muscles and gets the blood flowing in preparation of a strenuous workout. It also helps prevent the risk of injury.

Stretching, walking, jogging, arm circles, lunges, squats and jumping jacks are good choices to include in a warm up
