Natural emergencies are unforeseen circumstances caused by natural forces that are beyond human control whereas man made emergencies are caused by activities of human beings. Preparedness differ in that it is easier to be ready for man made emergencies than natural emergencies. This is due to the high level of unpredictability of natural forces.
