Suleiman the magnificient killed his able son, and selected a weak son as  a ruler. the weak sons consequently contributed to the dowonfall of the empire.
Şehzade Mustafa Muhlisi was the eldest son of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. He killed him after being convinced by his second wife Hurrem, who seemingly was canny and a master of feigning.
