We will use PEMDAS rule to simplify the given expression.

PEMDAS rule is given by:

P
-Parentheses first

E
-Exponents (ie Powers and Square Roots, etc.)

MD-Multiplication and Division (left-to-right)

AS
-Addition and Subtraction (left-to-right)
[tex] 25-(\sqrt{16} -1) * (3-9) *2 [/tex]

Step 1: P-parenthesis first.

(3-9) is -6

√16 -1 = 4-1 =3

So new expression becomes : [tex] 25-3*(-6)*2 [/tex]

Step 2:

Multiplying (-3)*(-6)*2

We get +36

So new expression becomes : 25 +36

Step 3: Addition

Adding 25 and 36 we get 61

So final answer is 61 .
