The previous two pages tackled the problems with providing aid (such as wells) to developing countries. but, the advertisement on this page argues that people in ethiopia and other areas of the developing world are in desperate need of aid. having taken into account both perspectives, what's your opinion on aid?

My opinion would be:Aid provides a lifeline to the world's most desperate people. Even if it has some downsides, its benefits outweigh its costs

Yes, it is true that if we just give aid over and over again to the people we would potentially make the people become too dependant and unwilling to create a solution for their problem. But, this can be controlled by including education as part of the aid rather than putting 100% materialistic things as the aid.
