The answer is ecumenism which means to unify the Christian
Churches. The Reformation destroyed
religious unity in Europe and gave rise to different types of Christian
religions. This was later countered by
the Catholic Reformation. Today
different churches often meet and discuss important issues and they now respect
each other’s belief.
