Peter wrote two letters to the early christians
The first one was addressed to persecuted Christians in regions of Asia minor. He exhorted the readers to emulate Christ's suffering in their distress. Remembering that after he died in the cross, he is now living in eternal glory.
The second letter is concerned with the second coming of Christ. He attributed the delay to God's patience for universal redemption.
