2x-3y=9

subtract 2x from each side

-3y = -2x +9

divide by -3

y = 2/3 x -3

slope = 2/3

y intercept = -3

x intercept set y=0 and solve

0 = 2/3 x -3

add 3 to each side

3 = 2/3 x

multiply each side by 3/2

9/2 = x

the x intercept is 9/2 or  4 1/2

y=(2x-9)/3
y=(2/3)x-3
slope(m)=2/3

finding x-intercept..
if y=0
2x-3(0)=9
