Three ounces of cinnamon cost $2.40. If there are 16 ounces in 1 pound , how much does cinnamon cost per second ?

Per second, or per pound? Because if it were per pound than it would cost about $12.72. Though, I’m afraid with seconds, those units of measurement don’t make a lot of sense together.
